[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30″][vc_column_text]A relaxing and enjoyable bike ride in the area of Chianti Classico. This itinerary is designed for more laidback bikers and families. It features some of the most beautiful backroads in Tuscany, with lovely views and endless photo opportunities.<\/p>\n

There are a few gradual climbs along the way \u2013 greatly rewarded with amazing panorama \u2013 some of the best in Chianti.<\/p>\n

The ride starts in Gaiole in Chianti, a quiet and very beautiful wine village, as well as home to the world famous vintage bike race called L\u2019 Eroica.<\/p>\n

We bike south towards Siena on the Chiantigiana road, then continue to a gorgeous 11th<\/sup> century castle, one of the largest and best maintained fortified castles in the Chianti area. This castle was the birthplace for Chianti Classico wines in the late 1800\u2019s.<\/p>\n

We will bike or walk up to the actual castle to enjoy the stunning views the castle has to offer, and its impressive walls.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, we will taste the best wines and vintages from this prestigious estate, which is has been in the same noble family for over 35 generations.<\/p>\n
